Campaigner simplifies email for small biz brands
Although email marketing is thought by some to be old-hat, many marketers are still unsure about just how to make email work for them. Enter a few upgrades to the Campaigner email interface which should make brands big and small better integrate with email marketing messages.
"Starting and running a small business is time intensive," said Steve Adams, Vice President of Marketing for Protus, Campaigner's provider. "We've taken away the stress of having to learn and use multiple software programs by incorporating them into Campaigner. Now our customers can create compelling marketing email campaigns quickly so they have more time to work on what they know best, their business."
The new Campaigner features include the ability to edit images within Campaigner's interface, template personalization, message preview and address importation from other email services.
First, the image editing feature. Rather than finding an image and then using a separate image editor, marketers can simple upload the image and edit from within Campaigner's desktop. This not only saves a step, but ensures the image is compatible with the platform.
Second, businesses can manipulate automatic templates to include their business address, phone number or website information using auto-fill features. This makes each template easier to re-use for future campaigns.
The email address importation feature is really self-explanatory. Rather than physically inputting different email addresses, the platform will grab addresses and place them in the delivery address area.
Finally, once the images and content are uploaded and ready, marketers can them preview the message as a whole to ensure that the message displays correctly.
According to the US Small Business Administration 600,000 new businesses are created each year. Having the ability to quickly enter the online marketplace could spell the difference between small business success and failure.
