InXpo's new suite integrates social, gaming, virtual worlds

We all know the social, gaming and virtual worlds are exploding with consumer usage of late, but for many brands getting into all three areas with the same message at the same time is proving difficult. This is where a new suite of tools from InXpo may come in handy. Called the Social Suite it offers marketers a single platform in which to use all three areas simultaneously.

"We are witnessing an important shift in how organizations connect with their customers and their own people," said Chris Meyer, Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing, InXpo. "By incorporating these three transformative technologies - virtual, games and social media -in our powerful virtual platform, organizations have entirely new ways to connect people, foster education and improve productivity, all within a single virtual environment."

With the suite of tools, marketers could engage the attendees of a virtual conference by placing an interactive social or gaming widget in one of the virtual rooms. Visitors then click to use the tool and can share information on the products or services through their own social networks. The suite of tools may also:

• Help build buzz for upcoming events by integrating with users Twitter or Facebook feeds
• Drive peer-to-peer interactions via socnets such as LinkedIn
• Allow multiple users to engage with text or video chatting options
• Engage consumers through widgeted games

You can watch a demo showing how the suite would work when placed in a virtual auditorium here. The suite of tools officially launched on May 7, 2010.
