Inside INdiana Business taps Cantaloupe for video experience

Marketers interested in Indiana demographics have a new way to engage and hopefully convert. Inside INdiana Business has partnered with Cantaloupe.TV for a more engaging video experience. Cantaloupe will serve content and ads within the Inside INdiana Business portal.

cantaloupetv.jpgCantaloupe's video platform, Backlight, will be used on the Inside INdiana Business hub via a simple integration process. The platform makes it simple for video providers to manage a video library, utilize video content more easily across properties and to track how consumers are interacting with the solution.

"Inside INdiana Business is a natural fit for our online video platform," says Stacy Billanti, Cantaloupe's president. "The user will be able to view and engage with videos easily, and Inside INdiana Business will be able to point-and-click to embed videos into the website, upload pre-roll advertising video, track video activity, as well as manage all of its online video content in a single library."

According to eMarketer's updated advertising forecast, video will lead online ad efforts over the next four years. In 2009 the video ad spend increased just over 38%. In 2010, video advertising is expected to grow by just over 48% with other areas of the online ad spend will see 10% or less growth. The forecast indicates that the 40+% increases will continue until 2013, when the video spend will slow to roughly 34% growth.
