Analog Analytics offers hyper-local options for advertisers

There is a new option for local online publishers: local coupons, gift certificates and deal options targeted to the local readership. The platform from Analog Analytics gives publishers and marketers the ability to connect on a local level with consumers to increase click throughs and engagement.

analoganalytics.jpgWith Analog Analytics, publishers or advertisers can create and launch online, mobile and in-text ads with coupons and gift certificates. With coupon use and search increasing by double-digit numbers over the past eighteen months giving a consumer an offer along with the ad is a good way to engage and convert.

"Providing a way to maximize revenues with online content is crucial today for both traditional and online media," said Ken Kalb, CEO of Analog Analytics. "We have developed a solution to deliver interactive local coupons and gift certificates with very high click through rates." Kalb went on to explain that click throughs with the AA platform were between 2% and 10%.

In addition to coupons and gift certificates, local marketers can push "Bigger Better Deals", more short-term offerings targeted to the local marketplace for a week or a day. For example, a consumer could purchase a carpet cleaner using the Bigger Better Deal on Monday, but rather than using it that day, they would receive a certificate to redeem at a later date.

Just how important are coupons to today's marketers? Coupons.com research shows that savings from printed coupons reached $850 million in 2009, a 170% increase. Many consumers are now looking for coupons online or in newspapers before they buy so offering coupons, especially at the local level, is another way to get shoppers in stores.
