Tribal Fusion launches overlay ads for online video
A more engaged consumer could be just a video clip away. A new advertising suite of tools from digital marketing company Tribal Fusion offers overlay video advertising units said to push 100% consumer engagement. The ad units are available in display, interstitial and mobile formats, giving video marketers a variety of options.
The Full Engagement Video units give video marketers the ability to integrate video campaigns with other online marketing campaigns.
"Consumers are spending an increasing amount of time online watching video, but advertisers have no scalable way to successfully and easily capture and engage these users," said Harris Bernstein, Vice President of US Sales at Tribal Fusion. "Tribal Fusion's Full Engagement Video helps advertisers maximize the impact of their online advertising by seamlessly integrating immersive video experiences with Tribal Fusion's premium display and mobile inventory, campaign implementation, and detailed reporting, ensuring 100 percent user engagement and easy campaign management."
The ad units are used in-banner, giving consumers the option to roll over the unit for more information; the ad then expands to the browser window size to immerse the consumer within the ad. The mobile units are played prior to launching a game or app, the video ads launch as soon as the consumer clicks on the link.
Recent data from comScore shows that just over 84% of US consumers are watching online video content, on average for nearly 11 hours each month.
