Click Forensics, eBay partner for traffic monitoring
A new deal between traffic quality hub Click Forensics and online marketplace eBay could help ecommerce advertisers with eBay stores gain more from incoming traffic. The partnership will allow Click Forensics to monitor traffic to filter out low quality or invalid traffic; this should help marketers improve sales conversions.
By monitoring and filtering out bad traffic advertisers can be more certain that campaigns are performing at peak.
"It is crucial that we deliver the highest quality traffic to our advertising partners, and working with Click Forensics will help ensure that we are doing just that," said Alexis Van De Wyer, director of advertising at eBay Inc.
"eBay is committed to delivering the highest quality traffic to its advertiser merchants," said Paul Pellman, CEO of Click Forensics, Inc. "We look forward to collaborating closely with eBay to continually improve and enhance both our platforms for the benefit of online advertisers."
The partnership will provide merchants from the eBay AdCommerce unit and the eBay Partner Network with traffic information which will help to lead higher quality traffic into the conversion funnel. By filtering out the bad and pushing more good traffic toward the marketers, Click Forensics will help reduce the amount of botnet and other low quality traffic which hurts marketers and merchants throughout the online space.
