MMA announces steady rise in membership

The growth in interest in mobile marketing is being reflected in a boost in members of the Mobile Marketing Association which has already added several more members, some of which are big brands.

Since February, the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) has added 28 more members. New members represent a variety of segments within the mobile marketing industry including agencies, technology providers and brands.

"The solid month to month growth that we've seen serves to demonstrate the desire of all involved in deploying mobile marketing strategies to play an active role in how the industry evolves, and that mobile continues gaining global recognition," said MMA President and CEO Mike Wehrs in a recent announcement.

"The increase in members from our Middle Eastern, South American and Asia-Pacific regions is also testament to the MMA's global reach."

Big brands such as Sony Pictures Entertainment, Omniture and Synovate are among recent MMA joiners. The MMA provides those involved in the mobile marketing industry with a valuable resource to realize the full potential of mobile strategies while protecting the interests of consumers.
