"DMDS version 5.0 is a significant milestone in our mission to deliver a fast and secure environment for content owners to effectively manage the delivery of their audio and video releases," said Richard Klosa, Chief Technology Officer at YANGAROO Inc. "We've worked closely with our customers to create a more intuitive system that matches their workflows and will be rapidly adding a bevy of additional features in the coming weeks and months."

The 5.0 system allows content owners from television and radio stations to record labels to quickly deliver specific content to specific users without the use of CDs or DVDs. By delivering content online businesses can better monitor who downloads the content, when and even how many times the online content can be viewed or listened to to avoid the pratfalls of duplication, shipping and delivery issues.

To date Yangaroo's DMDS system has delivered more than six million deliveries of more than 21,000 songs from record labels to radio stations. In the US alone more than two million deliveries have been made. Yangaroo's platform is used in the US, Canada and the UK.
