Healthline allows users to search by treatment
Medical advertisers or those whose target demographic is a health-conscious consumer may benefit from a new tool at Healthline. The online health solution provider has launched a new search tool that allows consumers to search according to treatment; another tool quickly connects consumers with specialists in their area.
The first tool is called Healthline TreatmentSearch and is fairly self-explanatory. This is the first semantically-generated health search database; it lists possible treatments for illnesses, and will likely be a hit with consumers who are diagnosed with an illness or who are researching an illness for a loved one.
The second tool is called Healthline DocSearch; this platform quickly connects consumers with physicians and specialists in their area. This platform also works semantically; the results generated are based on the consumer's health condition or symptoms.
"When you are diagnosed with a health condition, you want to know your options, find a treatment and a specialist that are right for you," said West Shell III, Chairman and CEO of Healthline Networks. "Healthline semantic search technology enables us to get inside not just the consumer's health inquiry, but also all the relevant associations. . .We now have a complete set of Medically Guided search applications that empowers consumers to take control at every stage of their health condition."
