Betawave TV offers branded video content

A new syndicated video platform is said to serve more than six million unique viewers to marketers, and to give marketers access to branded video content. Betawave TV is an ad supported offering from Betawave Corporation and offers several different types of content ranging from animated to sports, fashion and beauty subjects.

"Broadband advertising represents a growing share of online revenues despite the fact that there is a shortage of programming in environments that conform to high editorial standards. Betawave TV allows us to provide advertisers and publishers high-quality video programming," said Matt Freeman, CEO of Betawave. "Given the quality of our publishers and content providers, we see the introduction of Betawave TV as a safe and scalable solution unlike anything currently in the marketplace. This is one more example how Betawave continues to deepen its relationship with its partners."

The platform gives marketers access to scalable video ads as well as a distribution system; the universal player offered can be customized to fit the look and feel of marketer websites. The ads can be offered either before or after the video content; overlay ads are also available if that is a better fit for the marketer.

To begin the programming will be offered into Betawave sites such as GameGecko, Cartoon Doll Emporium; non-network sites will added in at a later date.
