One Minute Media offers sponsored vid clips
Looking for a content resource that can be specifically targeted to your products and/or services? A new service, called One Minute Media, could be what you're looking for. The company recently launched a platform for one-minute, sponsored videos.
The videos, penned as a general knowledge resource, offer information on anything and everything from topics such as how to get a business grant to how to reduce puffy eyes. Health, mechanics, entertainment, world subjects and more topic types are available, giving marketers a unique way to sponsor video content. To date the company has launched more than 24 60-second, sponsored videos for brands such as Zyrtec, Desitin and Johnson's Head-to-Toe Bedtime products.
Brands pay for each unique viewing of the video they choose to sponsor and according to the company each 60-second clip costs about 1% of the production costs of a typical :30 commercial.
Although the platform is new, this could be a good way for marketers to dip their toes in the video arena. Research has found that consumers want short video clips that are content-relevant. If they search for the proper way to diaper a baby, they don't want to slog through five UGC clips of silly baby diapering incidents. Also, because marketers are sponsoring specific videos they can be certain that the content of the clip is relevant to their product or service.
