Online marketers and offline brands are more susceptible to attacks than ever, especially with the social nature of the Internet. Domains can be hijacked, negative domains can be registered and email accounts can be stolen. A new offering from could help businesses and brands keep their identities safe.

Domain MaxLock is a new platform which allows brands and marketers to protect their brands from hijacked domains, stolen email accounts and identity theft. The platform works much like similar personal identity theft protection plans by placing safeguards on your brands and accounts.

In order to make changes to a domain or email account, for example, the requesting party has to provide a government ID and answer security questions created and answered by your team. There are also verification instructions to help protect your good name.
