4INFO, Velti forge mobile marketing partnership

If the number of partnerships being formed in the mobile arena means anything then mobile is getting ready to make big strides in the marketing world. The latest partnership, between 4INFO and Velti, gives mobile marketers the ability to track clicks, plan and execute different types of mobile campaigns.

Velti is an integrated mobile marketing services company while 4INFO is one of the first SMS publishers. 4INFO delivers messages to more than 10 million consumers each month.

The partnership will give marketers another avenue to target, reach and engage mobile consumers who are clamoring for mobile content. Their mobile ad network is multi-channel, allowing 4INFO's SMS offerings to meld with Velti's click tracking abilities.

"4INFO acts as a highly targeted cannel for the call to action and Velti provides the platform for engaging and delivering complimentary and relevant communications, as well as full tracking and reporting for activities and campaigns," said Paul Cheng, Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy for Velti.

The end to end click tracking functions will be of special interest to marketers because they can follow how consumers are engaging with the ad from the call to action ad through the interaction's end result. By knowing how consumers are engaging, marketers can determine where to make small adjustments in the campaign, thereby increasing campaign ROI.
