What does your online reputation say about you?
If you don't know, you are doing a disservice to your brand. Even if everything said about your brand online is positive, you need to know what is being said and where - or you could be in for a world of trouble. Why? Because in the online world, just like the physical world, reputation is everything.
Reputation monitoring tools can help manage this aspect of online advertising.
“Filtrbox was founded with a very simple idea – to help me deal with the increasing volume of information that I monitor on the Internet," said Ari Newman, President and Founder of Filtrbox.
"Like many others, I was overwhelmed with the volume of articles I read daily. Unfortunately, I was surprised to find that the expensive tools often only address a portion of the problem. We live by our mission and are driven to solve this pain for our customers as well.”
Filtrbox is one of the newer reputation management tools, and joins tools like Google Trends, Trackur and Snydey Web to help marketers figure out how their brands are faring in the online environment.
Here is how the platforms work: a marketer can create a search for a company name, a person's name, a specific keyword or product information and create a filter. Once the filter is created, the management tool pulls content from around the web - publication sites, social sites and blogs. All of the relevant returns are then aggregated so that marketers can easily see what is being said, where it is being said and how it is affecting the brand overall.
