Could going virtual increase your business?
Done correctly, virtual events can be just as effective as in-store promotions. The key, however, is that the event have the right punch to get consumers interested whether planning an online conference or a special event sale for valued customers. A new solution from ON24 could help facilitate online events.
Sharat Sharan, President and CEO of ON24, Inc said, “With ON24 Virtual Show, we are transforming how organizations leverage webcasting and virtual events for their global communication and demand generation needs.”
The platform allows for marketers to have real-time information delivered to users' PCs, social networking features and "Smart" booths which can deliver personalized information to consumers attending your show.
Why consider an online event?
First, consider the cost-effectiveness of an online show. Rather than spending cash for travel, outlaying money for show booths and freebies and the advertising to get consumers interested in what you have to offer, marketers can focus the show budget on advertising and products. Plus, the online show interface can be used time and again for future shows.
Second, consumers like the ability to attend the show on their schedule and since the platform offers customizable information, they are assured of receiving exactly what they want without the filler of an in-person show.
