BazaarVoice, iGoDigital partner for partner recommendations
A new partnership could be a huge help to etailers across the web with word of mouth campaigns. iGoDigital, a provider of personalized product recommendation software, and BazaarVoice Radius, a social ecommerce system, are partnering to give marketers better control of social ecommerce ad campaigns.
Marketers can use iGoDigital's recommendation software combines with BazaarVoice's social infrastructure.
“Customer-to-customer conversations and user-generated content are top of mind for marketers – in fact 9 out of 10 marketers plan to add Web 2.0 capabilities this year,” said Brett Hurt, founder and CEO of Bazaarvoice. “The integration between Bazaarvoice’s social commerce platform and iGoDigital provides marketers with a powerful new way to extend the value of their user-generated content to engage more customers and ultimately drive more sales.”
The product recommendation software gives marketers insight into many different sources of consumer and product information so that they can make the right decision about which products will make the best campaign filler. This way consumers get a personalized list of products that are right for their needs.
Combined with BazaarVoice's reviews and social infrastructure, the platform has the potential to change the way marketers look at social campaigns. Rather than hit-and-miss type ads on popular social spaces, marketers can target their products to in-market consumers based on their wants and needs.
