Unicast to provide rich media for Google's content network

Mark down a new advertising provider for Google's content network. Unicast, a leader in rich media advertising, has signed on to provide rich media, display ads for the network. Google's content network is a leader for advertising networks around the world.

The display ads will be placed on various web properties.

The network will run nearly all of the premium rich media (PRM) formats from Unicast's platform. One of those formats is the HD3D, which uses "photorealistic" 3D environments with Flash technology to create an interactive format that will appeal to consumers.

"We worked with the Google team to leverage our technology and bring the best possible rich media ad applications to the Google content network,” said Jason McKay, President of Unicast. “We believe this is an important step in our long term vision for the future of rich media on the Web.”

Unicast's platforms help marketers to create appealing rich media ads for different online environments. By offering different types of ads for different types of websites, marketers have a better chance of appealing to a more broad consumer base. In this way marketers have a better chance of increasing brand awareness, increasing the ROI of campaigns. This could also enhance the number of consumers actually purchasing products.
