Study: Webcasting could be the answer for B2B marketers

If you need more sales leads but simply cannot soak up the costs of more travel time, webcasting could be the answer. According to a recent white paper sponsored by ON24, webcasting is a good way to interest your marketing prospects without investing in a lot of time and money in more traveling.

The white paper shows the results of studies conducted with Frost & Sullivan, MRM Worldwide and BusinessObjects.

“Organizations are seeking ways to reduce travel costs and their carbon footprint, while achieving maximum results,” said Jennifer Bates, Director of Consulting, Information & Communications Technologies (ICT) Practice, Frost & Sullivan. Frost & Sullivan is one of the businesses studied for the paper. “We envision webcasting as a key solution that not only addresses the cost and green issues, but also is uniquely positioned to address all the online event needs of global organizations.”

According to the researchers, webcasting allows marketers to connect with businesses in an affordable manner over many miles.

By creating an online, video conference where businesses can connect with your company to learn the benefits offered, marketers can accomplish two things. First, you can show your own prowess with new technologies. Second, you can easily engage new businesses and hopefully convert sales leads without the expense of cross-country travel.
