itsmy.com gains traction worldwide
If you're thinking of entering the mobile space, mobile social network itsmy.com could be a good place to begin. According to the recent Opera Software Mobile Web report, itsmy.com is in the top 10 most visited mobile spaces.
itsmy.com is the only mobile-only site to be listed in the top 10. Other top sites include Friendster.com, Google sites, Mocospace.com and Facebook.com.
According to itsmy.com company information, there are 2 million unique users who generate just over 250 million page views each month. These users are exclusive mobile phone users, they do not connect via PC.
The itsmy.com platform allows consumers to create their own mobile space, complete with their own mobile web address to share photos and connect socially with friends and family. They can create mobile video pages as well as personalizing their own homepage.
Other trends for the mobile space? According to the Opera report, just over 40% of the total mobile traffic is to mobile-social sites. In the US, 63% of total traffic is to mobile-social sites. Traffic to social platforms continues to increase throughout the world; as more consumers log on to the mobile web they want to bring their friends along with them.
