Video ad platform launched by Mixpo
A new video platform could help struggling real estate companies better engage the consumer. Online video advertising company Mixpo has launched a new platform targeted to the real estate sector.
Several top-flight real estate companies have signed on including ActiveRaiM, Realogics and Miller Condominium Marketing Group. Through their agreements with Mixpo, the companies will leverage Mixpo's platform to create and optimize video ads. The ads can be placed through advertising networks, on websites and blogs.
Though many real estate entities have signed on, the platform has actually been released for several different advertising categories.
"[The platform allows] small to mid-market advertisers to create and deploy high quality and affordable VideoAds, accompanied by easy-to-use analytics, distribution, and optimization tools to make these campaigns as effective and results-focused as possible,” said Anupam Gupta, Mixpo President and CEO.
Ads are served in VideoAd, a player which can be embedded into in-banner video ads, search engine landing pages, blogs and websites. Each ad allows consumers to click through at various points for more information or to reach the business directly. Businesses can create their own ads in the studio area from already existing video clips, photos or audio files; these pre-existing clips are part of a series of stock media options.
Next, the company tests the ads to determine where the ads will be best served and create a rotation. Finally, the dashboard allows marketers to measure how the ad campaign is faring and to determine what changes should be made.
