Tremor Media launches new video suite
Advertisers now have more options when it comes to video advertising. Last week, Tremor Media announced plans for a new video platform that will offer marketers in-stream and overlay in addition to other video formats.
The ads are offered through the new Acudeo ad system, formerly known as Ad-inStream.
Marketers will be able to run ads sold through Tremor Media, other advertising networks and ads sold by their own sales forces.
Jesse Chenard, Chief Strategy Officer, Tremor Media said, “Giving publishers the ability to deliver ads from multiple sources without swapping out multiple players is a dramatic shift in video ad serving operations. [The platform] allows publishers. . .to maximize their available streaming video inventory."
The company says they will continue to sell most of their video ads on it's own network of sites, unsold inventory will be offered to other ad networks.
The platform allows publishers to use their own video publishing systems. Publishers can schedule and deliver in-stream video and overlay spots from the different ad sources through the Tremor Media dashboard. This will allow publishers to increase revenues. Ads can be played whether the publisher uses the Acudeo video player or not.
More than 800 websites are part of the Tremor network.
