More content partnerships available for the Marchex Network
With fresh content becoming more mandatory for websites each day, many sites - especially local business websites - are desperate for good content. The Marchex Network is hoping to solve some of those problems with new content partnerships for it's network of 150,000 local websites.
The content partnerships include sites such as Yelp.com, Avvo.com, HealthGrades.com and Restaurant.com. The sites will provide fresh content to Marchex's network, including reviews and other social content. According to a company press release, more than 5 million reviews and ratings will become available throughout the network, bringing the total number of reviews to more than 8 million.
"The rich local content adds to the scale and quality of Marchex’s local network and further enhances our position as a leading local information resource for consumers,” said Pete Christothoulou, Marchex Chief Strategy Officer. “In turn, Marchex’s local network expands our partners’ reach and awareness with local consumers and delivers targeted traffic deep into their Web sites.”
Marchex's network appeals to more than 26 million unique users each month over their network of 150,000-plus local websites.
By being offered relevant and fresh content, consumers are more apt to return to websites over time, giving marketers a better chance to increase the ROI of ad campaigns run on the network sites.
