Yell.com launches netReach ad network

Britain’s leading directory publisher, Yell.com, will launch its own ad network this month to provide their clients with an expanded web presence.

yell%20logo.gifWith the launch of netReach, Yell.com’s new online ad syndication platform, even marketers with smaller ad budgets can expand and target their web presence.

netReach has been trialed with a variety of U.K. firms including Multimap, the Manchester Evening News and Genie Knows. The response, in terms of the increase in click-through rates, was positive with the Manchester Evening News’ head of digital sales saying theirs were “excellent”.

netReach can delivery ads both geographically and contextually with network partners retaining the ability to avoid competitive issues by blocking specific business classifications.

Ian Bowen-Morris, head of ad syndication at Yell.com, said, "Given the growing trend from web users to filter out or turn off from sites serving irrelevant content, leading web publishers are keen to find a trusted solution for syndicated advertising."

Yell.com’s major competitors, Thomson Local and BT Phonebook, both have their own ad network solutions.
