Spot Runner Acquires Weblistic

Local business have a new place to buy ads across the board. Spot Runner, an online ad and media buying company, acquired Weblistic, a local business ad solution firm, earlier this week. The movies predicted to change the way local businesses buy online ads.

Weblistic offers high-quality leads to local businesses so that they can connect with in-market consumers. They offer paid search, search engine optimization and online video ads among other offerings.

The idea of cross marketing is nothing new but a recent study from Jupiter Research and iProspect points toward cross marketing being even more important than originally thought. By advertising on television or in newspapers and pointing consumers to a website or offering online coupons, advertisers increase their chances of converting that user. Jupiter Research found that television, especially, is the most likely medium to drive consumers online to search for a company or product.
