Burst deploys in-banner video ads
Online marketers may want to pay special attention to a new offering from Burst Media. Along with rich media firm PointRoll, Burst has rolled out their video advertising channel which also includes the ability to launch video in banners.
Jarvis Coffin, CEO, Burst Media said, "[Burst Video In-Banner]…lets an advertiser's message fit seamlessly into a web user's Internet experience. With PointRoll, we can now offer advertisers a powerful new way to deliver their video advertising online and do it easily by repositioning existing video assets."
Advertisers can use their existing video ads within the platform. Once the ad is played, however, the ad doesn't just disappear. Instead, a brand image is left behind which means the advertiser's message has another chance to reach the consumer. The video ads are delivered through the Burst Video Channel, which has the ability to deliver more than 200 million impressions each month.
The Burst Video Channel is a network of websites focused on content. Advertisers can target ads in a number of ways, including contextual targeting options, to engage consumers. Advertisers can buy high-quality video and display ad inventory with one purchase. Along with the single-purchase option, advertisers can easily manage cross-marketing campaigns and receive reports on how their ads are performing.
