JangoMail upgrades email platform
Email marketers who are looking for a little more from their email program may get that extra push from JangoMail's revamped platform. It allows marketers unlimited search and offers deliverability reports which are domain based.
The deliverability reports are likely the most unique feature of the revamp. With it users can see how many emails are opened for the campaign from specific domains. Also of interest is the time analysis feature. This feature allows users to see how campaigns are faring by the day or hour. By analyzing how email open rates increase/decrease in the hours after a campaign is launched, marketers can better determine what areas of the campaign need to be tweaked.
Ajay Goel, President of JangoMail said, “We strongly believe that our upgraded reporting system is one of the most sophisticated on the ESP market and will provide enhanced intelligence to help improve e-mail marketing campaigns.”
Another area which marketers - and users - will likely respond to is the confirmation feature. Users can confirm whether an email was delivered by viewing Simple Mail Transfer Protocol logs from JangoMail.
Email, though not getting the same buzz as social marketing efforts, is still a force in the industry. According to a recent report from Datran Media email is outperforming display and search advertising. 80% of Datran's survey respondents said email messages were the strongest performing online marketing effort.
