Quigo launches Ad Links
Advertising network Quigo has launched a new segment of its AdSonar platform. Called Ad Links Plus the platform offers contextually targeted and graphically targeted ads for marketers.
"In developing Ad Links Plus we collaborated closely with our partners to meet their needs and find new creative ways to extend our ‘You Sell, We Sell’ model,” said Tony Wills, Managing Director of Quigo’s newspaper publishers group. “We’re delighted that we’ve been able to implement a collaborative sales process at each publisher in which both online and print sales representatives participate.”
The display ads are offered in fixed placements on a websites homepage or another highly trafficked page. The ads are sold on a cost per time (CPT) basis. There are several different subscription types ranging from daily to monthly or quarterly deployments.
Several newspapers and local publishers have already signed on for the ad service, hoping to improve their ROI.
The AdSonar program works by allowing marketers to first create their online ads and then targeting the websites, keywords or website sections that are the best fit for the ad. Advertisers then set their bids and prices and then the ads are deployed. The AdSonar platform also filters undesirable websites so that ads or advertisers get the most for their ad dollar.
