Spotzer upgrades ready-made ad offerings
Do-it-yourself ad creation may have gotten a touch simpler with an upgrade offered by Spotzer. The online ad company offers ready-made video ads for small and medium sized business who could not otherwise afford video ads.
Earlier this year, Spotzer launched the original product, which gave small and medium sized advertisers the ability to create online video ads at a fraction of the cost that individual agencies would charge. The platform houses a number of pre-made ad spots which advertisers could personalize with their own message.
The upgrade gives users more control by giving advertisers the ability to create rough cuts using different slogans or logos to determine which ad is best. Another upgrade would assist advertisers in determine the cost of ads and how ads should be made available. Online marketers can also to develop a full-fledge media plan complete with budgets and goals.
Why should marketers turn to video? According to a recent survey more users are logging on to watch online video of all types. Having an online video ad is another way to reach an increasing number of users who are in-market for certain items. Users are watching news and entertainment clips, music videos and even movie trailers online. By sponsoring news clips with a targeted video ad, marketers have a good chance of creating interest in their products.
