ADSDAQ opens to all online publishers
Small publishers now have the chance to make a big impact with online advertising. ContextWeb's ADSDAQ ad exchange has been opened for use by all publishers.
The contextual ad exchange allows advertisers to choose their own CPM rate and allows even small publishers the ability to list their ad inventory quickly and easily.
"We provide advertisers with the opportunity to only display their advertisements on content that is most relevant to the product they are selling. With ADSDAQ, ads are placed on the most contextually relevant pages," was written on the company website.
The move is good news for small publishers who advertise to a niche audience of content or blog readers. By utilizing the ad exchange, advertisers may be able to reach a larger audience with their inventory.
"It’s no secret that smaller sites and blogs are attracting interest from both Internet users and brand advertisers,” says Anand Subramanian, CEO of ContextWeb, Inc. “The ADSDAQ exchange offers large and small premium content sites to brand advertisers who want brand safe access to customers at significant scale.”
Research from Media Screen indicates that users are slightly more interested in products and brands seen advertised on small sites (42%) - a niche content site or personal blog - than on large, high-trafficked sites (38%).
Several online properties have already signed on with the ad network. Since August of 2006 ADSDAQ has seen growth of 83% with a 91% increase in unique visitors. The total impressions served has reached 5 billion, growth of 127%.

ADSDAQ is definitely something we're considering for our business and in the traditional CPM model makes more sense for building a brand than the pay-per-click marketing that most of us have gotten so caught up in. Here's to leveling the playing field again!
