GoFresh to launch new mobile ad platform

The world's first mobile - social advertising network is set to be launched in just a few days by GoFresh's itsmy.com mobile network. The platform offers advertisers the ability to target several different types of ads to mobile consumers.

itsmy.jpg"Don't book channels, reach people on their mobile phones," said Sabine Irrgang, COO Gofresh. "To make advertising a success on mobiles, ads have to be relevant for the user and targeted for the brands."

The platform will give social marketers an outlet to reach consumers via their mobile devices. It offers mobile ad outlets like banners and click-to-call as well as in-game advertisements, WAP-site branding and even mobile television options. Advertisers can also advertise on user's personal content downloads, which is a great way to contextually target ads to an interested consumer base.

During the launch phase, advertisers will gain access to advertise on the more than 600,000 mobile Internet homepages already created within itsmy.com's mobile social network. Advertisers can choose three different ad types to reach consumers - such as a combination of mobile video, background images and banner ads.

In July itsmy.com signed up its 500,000th user, a sign that the mobile social network is really taking off. The platform offers users the ability to communicate and connect with other mobile users. With the popularity of social networking, it is a simple step to see that mobile social networking will also be a huge deal for online advertisers.

The platform will launch next week during the MIXX and OMMA conventions.
