Compete rolls out a new search analytics tool

A new search analytics tool promises a bit more information for search marketers. Compete Search Analytics allows marketers to view information from billions of monthly search queries to adjust their own paid search campaigns.

Jeremy Crane, director of search and online media at Compete said, "Whatever your level of experience, in a few short clicks our service will make you more successful with your search marketing programs; it’s that intuitive."

The platform shows which search keywords are being used the most, determines which search queries are driving engaged users and tracks campaign performance against the performance of search competitors.

Users can also use the pay-per-use service to gauge how to best exploit the gaps in competitors' search campaigns. Marketers can also check keyword referrals - which websites are getting the most hits from popular keyword phrases - and may gauge site referrals - which keywords are driving traffic to which websites or website categories.

By comparing all of the information available from competitors' campaigns to your own campaigns, marketers will have a better grasp on how campaigns are truly going. They can also better adjust campaigns because there will be actual information from campaigns that are performing well in the market.
