Real estate professionals favor search marketing
A survey of around 770 U.S. real estate professionals has concluded that search marketing is the most popular type of online advertising.
Around half of real estate professionals that participated in Inman News survey said they planned to purchase keywords on one of the major PPC marketplaces in the next 12 months. Forty-two percent planned to spend over half of their marketing and advertising budget online.
The new entrants in to the real estate industry appear to be the drivers behind online spending. Nearly 40 percent of those real estate buyers planning to purchase keywords had been in the real estate industry less than 5 years, 30 percent had between 5 and 15 years experience and 28 percent more than 15 years.
Many real estate professionals will take advantage of websites that offer free listings and social networking will even get a look in.
The survey, titled "The State of Real Estate Marketing", found that most respondents expected to spend up to $5,000 per annum on online activity.

There is a number going around that over 90% of home buyers start their search online. Thats up from 65% in 2006. Why not focus on the internet, its the future and the future is here.
