AdWords clients given Campaign Optimizer tool
Google has released a new tool for their AdWords clients that will analyze advertising campaign settings and report back on what has, and what hasn’t, been working.
Google’s new, free tool called Campaign Optimizer has been added to the AdWords management interface. The quick and easy-to-use application takes a minute or so to analyze campaign budgets, keywords, and landing pages.
After the analysis is complete a report is produced which will contain suggestions of how the campaign could be optimized. Recommendations may include additional keyword suggestions, budget tweaks to improve visibility or changes to the displayed URL and ad copy.
Campaign Optimizer can be used as often as required, although the Google Help Center recommends using it no more than once every two weeks in order to receive an “optimal proposal”. “This allows the Campaign Optimizer to draw upon two full weeks of your campaign performance,” explains Google’s Help Center.
