One-stop shop offered by PointRoll
When PointRoll rolls out its new ad interface this weekend advertisers will have a new one-stop-shop to create, distribute and manage online advertising campaigns.
Called AdPortal, the platform offers the ability to create more than rich media ads. GIF, Flash and other online ad types can also be created using the platform.
PointRoll CEO Chris Saridakis said, "Marketers will be able to effectively build and deliver even better rich media campaigns, specifically targeted and with measurable ROI."
The rollout of the new platform is one of many moves PointRoll has made since the beginning of the year to better serve clients. In March the company announced a partnership with AOL to help in the creation of ad campaigns for AOL customers. In January the company launched a Flash platform, a program that makes it easier for advertisers to create Flash campaigns.
With more and more ad dollars headed online, marketers are scrambling to have the next, best thing. Rich media offers advertisers a much broader base from which to work and integrating rich media campaigns with more traditional online ad forms - display ads, paid search and banners - is a good way to cover all of the bases. The key for each is to correctly target the demographic for which every ad is created.
