Pixsy Releases Widget For All Websites
Pixsy Corporation, a relative newcomer to the search platform, has released a new search board that allows websites of all sizes to include a customizable search engine to their site.
“Pixsy’s business model of using media search tools to create search traffic on websites is a unique and effective way of generating new targeted advertising inventory across the web,” said Jack Klues, Chairman, Publicis Groupe Media in a prepared statement. “We believe that Pixsy is well positioned to significantly exploit this growing market.”
Called PixsyPower, the suite of tools enables anyone with a MySpace page, blog or full-featured website to include a widget that includes private label photo and video search. All publishers have to do is sign up at PixsyPower.com. Once the widget is deployed, content and search capabilities directly link to the subject matter of the website.
The widget could also increase traffic to new or traditionally low-traffic sites by offering unique content. Website owners also have reporting tools that will help them track user activities and search patterns to better target the website.
