Does Your Brand Measure Up?

A new reporting platform from NameProtect could tell you how your brand is being used online. Called the Brand Aware Report, it allows businesses without monitoring to view how the brand is perceived and treated online.

From critical customers to parody advertisements, brands can be harmed in a number of different ways online. Managing the brand, whether your company sells mobile phones or baby food, is the difference between the life and death of a company.

“When you’re dealing with the health and safety of individuals, protecting the brand is so important,” said Malia Horine, General Manager of Digital Brand Management for NameProtect.

The Brand Aware Report allows users to see how their brand is being used online. Kind of like a one time only, real time snapshot of health or disease. Abuses like trademark infringement and dilution, domain name abuse, traffic diversion and false affiliation are among the things the NameProtect platform can detect and then take action against.

“Cybercrime continues to escalate and become ever so sophisticated, endangering the very life of brands online. Our new report allows any company, small or global, to receive a complete picture of how their treasured brand is doing and take immediate action if necessary,” said Horine.

The low cost service is based on the company’s higher-end services. It is also available for companies already managing their brand to gauge their current strategy.

NameProtect’s other services include trademark screening and research, brand or trademark watching and digital brand optimization.
