R.H. Donnelley is the nation’s third largest yellow pages publisher, and already has a significant online local search presence with top-performing, in addition to the print and online versions of AT&T Yellow Pages and Embarq Yellow Pages. With the additional of LocalLaunch’s specialty services, their market share can only increase.

LocalLaunch provides Internet search products, platform and fulfillment solutions to local advertising providers. The acquisition will add about 40 SEM and SEO marketing specialists to the R.H. Donnelley family. They, in turn, will help connect local businesses with consumers who are searching for products online.

David C. Swanson, R.H. Donnelley's chairman and CEO, said, "With the addition of LocalLaunch!'s Internet product development and search engine marketing expertise, we are immediately positioned as a recognized leader in this space and have the potential to drive the expansion of this segment over the longer term.”

The buyout will help R.H. Donnelley gain prospective customers from target industries like real estate, mortgage and hospitality industries, in addition to the traditional client base of yellow pages advertisers.

LocalLaunch will remain a wholly-owned subsidiary of R.H. Donnelley and their offices will remain in Chicago.
